Mary Rose Dances

She takes her hair down and places the twisty on her wrist. It’s a bracelet, she declares. It just looks like a twisty.

She’s happy and she spins around in her new shoes making click, click sounds when she steps in the kitchen. She likes that and decides to shuffle and spin there.

“I don’t want to go to school! I want to dance!” She says happily. It’s not with regret that she speaks. It’s with joy. Her heart is so full of the moment, there’s no room for regret.

So she spins around and around twirling her arms high in the air with no thought of school, or tomorrow.
